    Fantastic boots!!! |
By Aaron from Austin, TX
Pros: Comfortable. Good ventilation. Secure lace/velcro system. Soles grip. Price, price, price. Amazing value to quality ratio.
Cons: Laces too short for my fat feet, okay, not really a negative... =)
Slight sliding at the heel.
Sizing Info: Fits 1 size larger
Additional Sizing Notes: First of all I'm a big man at 290lbs so my feet/calves are quite thick. At first it was practically impossible to squeeze my feet into the bots. Then I figured out that if I loosen up the laces completely my foot slides right in. I'm in the hunt for some longer laces now. Once my foot is in the boots are very comfortable although they do slide a little bit in the heel. Of course I'm not walking long distances and it does not bother me while on the bike.
Comments: Fantastic boots! This is my first pair of riding boots and I am extremely happy with them. They are surprisingly comfortable. They look pretty normal under a pair of jeans. Fantastic ventilation,... (Read the rest of this review)

    Wow...really! |
By RacerX from Austin,TX
Pros: I live in Texas, my first time out w/ these boot and it was 100+ degrees. Our ride started at 7:30am to beat the heat, had several stops for breakfast and lunch, and ended at 3:30pm. I never took these boots off one time. Pretty much MINIMAL break in time, effective from the moment I sat on the bike. Took a few minutes to adapt to the thickness of the boot with the shifter, but non-existant worry after thirty minutes of riding. These boot are great. Plenty of protection: had a toe drag two hours into the ride, on the twisties, and had no visual damage at all. Solid. TAKE the time to loosen the strings, they were NO ISSUE, when taking them off. TAKE the time to tighten them from the bottom up, again the lacing system is NO ISSUE. Great color match, very comfortable, even walking in them was no issue. For the money, great boot. Thanks.
Cons: The only negative I can come up with, one of the skid plates was a bit loose. A simple tightening w/ the phillips screw driver and BAM, perfect. When you get your boots, simply take a minute to check all the screws. NOTICE: Tighten very gently, do NOT over tighten the screws, they look as though they could strip out easily. Be patient, they're worth it!
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: I wear a size 13 in Nike cross trainer shoes, I ordered a size 13 and it seems like a perfect fit for me. MAYBE a half size too long, but not worth the risk because I have a very wide foot & these felt great after a 6 hour ride my first time out.
Comments: To put it all together, I am a very budget oriented customer. I purchased the AGV one-piece suit, and the AGV tornado gloves, as well as these boots. The color matches all the way around, so... (Read the rest of this review)
