The Supersport line is intended for customers who expect sporting performance, but not the extreme racing characteristics of the race-replica exhaust systems. They're intended for everyday use, but offer power and torque which stock exhaust systems simply cannot match.
These full systems are hand-built featuring precision TIG welding in stainless steel, crossover tubes as needed and a high-quality spring-retention system. The main characteristic of the Supersport pipes is a total reworking of your bike's exhaust system, allowing increased power and torque over the entire rpm range. This means a smoother application of thrust.
At the same time these systems emit an unmistakable sound, are noticeably lighter than stock and feature aesthetic elegance OEM pipes can't match.
Excellent compromise between performance gain and noise

Pros: Very light. Quiet compared to other full systems for the 1gen SV650, very well-developed. Build quality is very good (see below). An excellent upgrade for a streetbike, and will do track duty seamlessly. Not flashy; good for those who want to keep a lower profile than others. Will work with the 1gen SV without jetting, and does not pop or sputter when installed correctly, like many full exhausts do -- nice.
Cons: Expensive. Join at mid-pipe and can somewhat loose (could be due to the previous owner's misuse, however). Carbon fiber hanger not as durable as a metal one.
If you want a system for its performance and weight loss rather than to impress chicks or your buddies, this is the one to get for the SV. Not a lot of noise, but a good increase in flow for the track, without jetting problems for street use. Ace.
