 Great flexibility

By Jon from Santa Barbara, CA

Pros: Great airflow, or, with the long sleeve insert, it keeps you decently warm and wind free. Good enough padding for a mesh jacket, though not crash tested. Nice and light, feels like not wearing anything; great for slow traffic, super hot days, or short commutes.

Cons: Forearm issue is a bummer. The neck isn't lined at all, and chafes my neck with over the shoulder head checks, or turning my head at all. Not too bad, but something that could have been easily fixed.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: The forearms are a little narrow for me; I can't tighten the straps at all, as they won't close. I ride an AlpineStars leather jacket most of the time, with no such problem. Not sure what's up there, but oh well.

I've put this jacket to the test

By Rick from Anytown, USA

Pros: - Decent airflow - Good protection - Durable

Cons: - Buttons on sleeve cuffs popped off due to my long gloves and pulling them on/off. I was riding more than average for most of this jacket's life so I wasn't disappointed, plus I could have been more thoughtful about yanking my gloves off.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Comments: I recently lowsided at about 50mph while wearing this jacket. The left arm and elbow (along with my head, my X11 is now on the shelf) took the brunt of the impact. The elbow armor did a good job... (Read the rest of this review)

 Great Jacket for all seasons!

By Tony from Hickory, NC

Pros: Great overall jacket for both warm and cold weather. Why buy 2 jackets for different seasons while you can save half the money and go with this one. When you remove the liner the "air-flows" great and with the liner in you can ride all winter. Everyone knows the quality alpinestars puts out and this is no different.

Cons: Fits a little snug in the sholders for a big guy like me. If you are over 210lbs I would suggest the 3xl.

Sizing Info: Fits 1 size smaller

By C.M. from SoCal

Pros: Awesome fit & finish. Very affordable and claims to be 'water resistant' I have yet to try it. The liner is very functional, it keeps you very warm in cold weather condition but without the liner the jacket brings airflow nicely. The shoulder/arm armors are very solid. Definitely recommended to those looking for most bang for their $.

Cons: Boring style, it's just all black without reflective strips so it can be dangerous in low visibility situation.
