I'm a big fan of this type of armor because it offers the max amount of ventilation and protection for a summer day. I've owned and crashed a Dainese wave 2 jacket. It literally saved my back and possible surgery ( 60 mph), to me that armor was better, but only because there was more protection area given by the pads in the elbow and shoulder area. Other wise, the Dainese is overpriced. Still, I feel confident in this armor and have vowed never to leave home without protection and I give everyone else the same warning... not that you don't already know that, but perhaps you give yourself excuses as to why you don't need it; don't believe yourself, suit up.

Pros: Very well built. The mesh is very good and cool. The protectors are excellent. I use this jacket under a mesh jacket and I do not feel hot when riding.
Cons: The size is awkward: it fits well in the harms but short in the torso. For sport riding I think it is well sized but if you are riding more upright it feels short.
The back protector should be longer.

Additional Sizing Notes: Fits well. I am a T-Shirt size M/L and bought the jacket in XL. It fits well on the arms (I have long arms) but it could be longer on the torso (I am 6'3"). The back protector could also be longer.

Pros: This is a great product. Given how many fools there are in SUVs with loud stereos, it's a relief to have this. Anyone who rides in a large city should seriously consider getting something like this. I considered getting the vest only, but why not the whole deal? You can always take a shower -it's much easier without a cast on, or a skin graft.
Cons: Apart from the forearm straps, there really isn't much of anything negative about this product. Well worth every penny spent -even if it's for peace of mind.

Additional Sizing Notes: The straps to adjust the forearms must have been designed for Popeye, they are much too long.
