Alpinestars Does It Again

Pros: After looking at 30+ choices I narrowed it down to the Alpinestars because of the construction, unobtrusive fit, and because fo the CE level 2 rating. Well made, light weight, and very comfortable - you'll forget it's there after 10 minutes.
Cons: Shoulder straps could be a little more substaintial but the work well for what they are supposed to do - it's more of a persoanl preference on my part.

Additional Sizing Notes: This piece is actually sold by the length of your back between your lower back & bottom of your neck - the sizing charts aren't much help. I'm 6'3" and a large is perfect.

Alpinestars Bionic back protector

Pros: very comfortable and easy to wear for long periods. seems typical Alpinestars top notch quality. the Level 2 certification was important to me in choosing this BP. dont hesitate on picking one of these up.
Cons: needs more lower back protection

Comments: Kneedraggers was a big help, I made a mistake and ordered a medium and needed a large, they made sure I got the right size quickly.

Pros: Extremely lightweight, low profile and narrow. By far the best back protector I've tried. In 3 seconds you will forget it is there. Fits great under the suit and doesn't constrict regular movement. I highly recommend this product for track day riders.
