Alpinestars Bionic S2 Protection Jacket

Pros: It feels safe and it looks super-cool.

Cons: No cons about the product itself but it seems to me that Alpinestars screwed up big time in size conversion. Look at their size chart. It says, for example, 5'9"-6'0" is equivalent to 180-183 centimeters but no! Ok, 6'0" is equal to 183 cm but 5'9" makes 175 cm. I guess they think one foot is 10 inches long instead of 12. It's funny when you think about it :)

Pros: Tight fit. Nicely adjustable in the front. Spine guard/kidney belt removable. Not sure of build quality but feels first rate so far. Alpinestar makes very good products. Seems it'll serve it's purpose very well. Since it's mesh, air flows through it like I'm not wearing it...neighbours say I look like a transformer with it on.

Sizing Info: Fits 1 size smaller

Additional Sizing Notes: I'm 5'5" and 155...kinda muscular but it's a tight fit. I can imagine a small would be way too small and a large be a little loose on me.

Comments: The jacket doesn't move around at all when it's on my body and I'm riding. Not sure of build quality but feels first rate so far. Alpinestar makes very good products. Seems it'll serve it's purpose... (Read the rest of this review)
