New ergonomic shape. Worn to victory by top racers worldwide, Alpinestars Knee Sliders are constructed using an exclusive PU compound to give better feel and durability.
Features
Used by our top racers.
Constructed using an exclusive PU compound that is durable yet allows good feel in turns.
Anatomically shaped for optimal contact, even-wear distribution and lighter weight.
Standard fitment on all Alpinestars leather suits.
Pros: They look great, fit great and provide awesome feel when grinding through corners... smooth as butter.
Cons: All gone in one trackday. My previous pair of A-stars pucks I was able to keep for five full trackdays. Maybe these are a little too soft? Or maybe I should grind less? Still love 'em, though.

Pros: Feedback from these pucks is very good. Logo and other aesthetic details are somewhat a waste with pucks suck as these as they are made of a VERY soft compound. The Astars logo didn't last beyond my first session. The pucks are of a similar thickness to shift, chicken hawks, etc. Compared to the Astars sport sliders they are slightly more solid. The sport sliders seem to have a honeycomb structure that becomes visible as the slider ends its life; I didn't notice this with the gp type.
Cons: The thickness is good but seriously required. I was pretty surprised at how quickly these sliders wore out. Seems like the wear when you cough on them. I got 1 sunday at Rd A out the right puck and about half of the is gone left. Fairly poor if you consider the amount of money these run. Feedback from them is good as i said but the rate at which these sliders wear out is incredibly fast. They came free with my suit and that is the only way that I would take any of the 2 Astars pucks offered.. Free.! I appreciate that alot of people enjoy having Astar stuff and generally they quality is good but your really wasting money on these as the chicken hawks soft are a much better alternative.
It's a shame that they don't sell a hard compound slider like the ones you see most the moto gp paddock and wsbk sporting.
Comments: Don't waste your money on them if your looking to replace the stockers. Unless you want to pay for new sliders the day after to roll on them.

Pros: Thick
Cons: - Price
- I don't know, maybe it was just my leathers (Alpinestars TZ1), but these sliders didn't stick well at all. Everytime I bent my knee to sit down or got on my bike, I can see the velcro start to separate. I had to keep pushing them against my knees so they wouldn't come off. One ended up coming off at the track the first day I used them. Saw it as I passed the corner on the next lap. Now I got a nice scrape on knee from dragging it without a slider.
