Pros: Low key - All black, no big flashy logos or bright colors. I personally prefer the time when labels were inside of clothes and not plaster on the outside of them.
Quality - Seems to me high quality. A*s has a reputation to maintain and I think this jacket does a good job of that. I am a bit disappointed in the liner. I feel like I will end up ripping that at some point. It is really thin plastic a little heavier then a construction trash bag. It just seems like they could have spent a little more on that.
Armor - Seems like it fits everywhere it needs to and will offer me substantial protection in a get off. I hope to never test it but I am happy it is there.
Air Flow - It is winter right now and I am in VT so I have not been out to test it out. I bought this because I am moving to New Orleans and wanted a jacket that would flow well. I believe this is that jacket. The perforations are all over it so I should get some good flow.
I would recommend to others looking for a jacket
Cons: The liner is a little thin. I think that they could have done a better job with that, BUT it is not the reason I bought this. I really want it for flow and have no plans on wearing it when it gets cooler out and when it is raining. This being said I tend to think of the liner as just being gravy. It is basically a just in case.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: I wear a 40L in a business suit but for some reason that is a 44 in leather jackets. I knew this from past experience and then was reminded my the youtube videos of sportbiketrackgear.com. I recommend finding somewhere local to try on leather motorcycle jackets before just buying.

Great jacket - runs small
By Everett from Gill, MA
Pros: Very nicely made jacket. Basic style goes with any kind of bike. Equally at home on a sport bike, cafe racer, or old-school classic cruiser. The fit and finish is quite good. Very subtle logos. Leather quality seems very good. Looks cool without being overly fashion-model-esque. Has pockets for chest padding.
Cons: Well, as mentioned, it runs too small. Chest and back padding are skimpy foam rubber. Plan on upgrading if you want real protection in those areas.
Sizing Info: Fits 1 size smaller
Additional Sizing Notes: If you have an athletic build, this will fit very tight across the chest, shoulders, and biceps. Definitely order one size bigger than the sizing chart indicates.
Comments: As long as you get the right size, it's an awesome jacket.

NYC for ME
By Erik from Crofton, MD
Pros: The jacket is bad ass. Great combination of modern style with just a touch or retro cool. Perforation flows unbelievably well, the windproof liner works admirably when zipped in. Feels better and better as I break the jacket in. If you want a aggressive riding jacket that gives ample protection without making you look like a Transformer, the the NYC is it!
Cons: Can't stand all the ladies honking at me at red lights telling me I look so sexy in black!
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: After numerous jacket fittings at Kneedraggers I slipped on the Alpinestars NYC and it fit perfect! I am 6'4" 225. I found the sleeves to be cut long enough for my simian arms and waist of the jacket to fit snug. The "stuntah" look is not for me.

Pros: good quality product (made in china).
Cons: none really
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: the only complaint i have with this jacket is that it was too long in the waist area and pushed up against my throat when hunched over. it is meant for cruser not sport bike riding. the rest of the fit was perfect. (i'm 6'1"/215 lb).

Pros: Padded shoulders and elbows, Good ventilation, Stylish
Cons: I sweat at stoplights, but that's with any leather.
Sizing Info: Fits 1 size smaller
Additional Sizing Notes: I followed the sizing chart and ordered a sz 54 the first time, I could barely move in it. Now I have a size 58 which fits good, you can still put a long sleve under it and be comfortable. I'm 5'11, 200 lbs
