Utilizing technology from the S-MX 4 road riding boot, the S-MX 2 is a new concept low cut, performance street boot. Incorporating much of the protective technology present in its larger �cousin�, this boot offers great flexibility without sacrificing safety.

Features

Low cut street riding boot, giving ultimate flexibility and uninhibited ankle movement, while retaining comprehensive foot protection and riding performance technology.
Similar in specification to the S-MX 4 full-length boot, the S-MX 2 is designed to retain flex without the need for the extended upper.
Designed to be used in conjunction with Alpinestars exclusive street knee/shin protector.
Full-grain leather upper with a low-cut front and extra low Achilles cutaway, ensure the boot is both comfortable and allows maximum, natural, ankle movement.
Streamlined road boot buckle closure with micro adjustable strap give security and accurate individual fit.
Inner side zipper, with Velcro� over flap closure, make entry and exit highly convenient.
Internal grip pad at base of heel ensures security and foot control.
Re-enforced heel and toe protection.
Heel protection detail and toe shifter pads.
Replaceable PU toe-sliders.
Molded rubber sole with internal shank for rigidity and protection.
A 100% waterproof version is available with a fully protective and breathable membrane.

Pros: Fit nicely, very comfortable. Looks great.

Cons: Seam between sole and upper boot separating about an inch long, where it normally bends from walking. Only right boot affected at this time. Only wear the boots for street riding... nothing aggressive.

Great boots

Pros: comfy, tight around the heal and have good support

Sizing Info: Fits 1 size smaller

Additional Sizing Notes: I normally wear a 10 in almost anything. These boots are a 9 or 43 and there is still a little room

Pros: I really like the feel of these boots. Descent ankle support, a solid sole which gives good feedback to the rider and none too shabby for walking about. I wore these boots on a 1600 mile vacation on my R6 and I stopped at various attractions and was able to remain completely ambulatory.

Great riding boots!!

Pros: Great alpinestars product. It's basically all the protection from the SMX-4 with the comfort of the SMX-1. Very comfortable, can walk around in these boots all day. Appears very solid and looks clean.

Cons: If you have never had riding boots before, it takes a little getting use to. You can't feel the shifter as much as you can when wearing shoes. Awesome profile from the outer side, but inner side kind of looks like a snow boot due to the zipper/velcro flap.

Sizing Info: Fits 1 size smaller

Additional Sizing Notes: I normally wear a size 10 - 10.5 so I ordered the size 45 (10.5) They were way too big. Had to order the next size down and they fit great

Comments: I would absolutely buy these boots again and suggest them to everyone I know

good boots

Pros: very comfortable boot. And I can wear them around town and not stick out. I feel like my feet are very well protected. Good boots. you'll be happy with a pair of these.

Cons: Alittle spendy. But with alpinestars you get what you pay for.
