Cons: It's soft plastic. Does not feel as if this would protect me from any sort of impact outside of simply sliding across the tarmac. For the level of protection, the lack of surface area and material, it is very expensive.

Additional Sizing Notes: I'm 6'3" 165lbs with 34" waist. I ordered a medium. Chest protector fits very nicely yet the spine protector is pretty short at about 5" shy of my belt.
If I could do it all over again I wouldn't.
