 Accident in these gloves

By Jose from Greenville, NC, USA on 05/20/2008

Pros: I love these gloves. After about a year of having them I got into a bad accident that tested each piece of gear that I had on and these did the job. I didn't have a scratch on me. The Carbon Fiber took allot of beating and there was still enough left for about 4 more accidents just like that. The palms of the gloves held up very well also you could see the gouges in the material, but it held strong.

Cons: After about 6 months of wearing them in the sun, rain, heat and cold, some of the stitching started coming undone, but only on one glove and on one finger. The rest held up fine.

"you get what you pay for" holds true with this pair.

By chindian from Toronto, Canada on 10/19/2007

Pros: comfort consistant with other Alpinestars gloves I've had quality of build is as expected with Alpinestars

Cons: the knuckle padding area is very large, too large for my liking

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: I've had 3 sets of the GP line of gloves and they all started snug and then stretched out to fit my hand. These are much tighter, less give so far.

Comments: I like these gloves but don't love them yet. I bought these to match my Alpinestars RC1 jacket, which it does, very well. Overall, I'm happy since I did pay online retailer pricing, which in my... (Read the rest of this review)

 WOULD BUY THEM AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

By ROSS from Fayetteville, USA on 10/09/2007

Pros: They are great for all weather cold or hot and i would say they are great for anyday riding...

Cons: Can't get in your pockets but thats about it for the Negative about the gloves..

Sizing Info: Other

Additional Sizing Notes: Go up a size from what you think would be comfortable because i tried on the mediums and the fit great but when you went the clutch had no finger room. the large is the way to go give you enough finger room.
