Is your head a "long oval"? Ever get that pain in the middle of you forhead on 2+ hour rides? Fear not! This is the helmet for you! After experimenting with Nolans, Sharks, HJC's and Shoies, I decided to stop into a NJ bike dealersip on a recent DC to NYC weekend trip. I had been previously swapping between a full face Shark RSI and an HJC open face carbon for my long rides to aviod helmet pain. I've read that the Profile gives more space for the front noggin, but wanted to try it on before committing to an online buy. Just so happened that on my way north, I stumbled upon a dealership in NJ that had a 30% off last years profile model. I tried it on and was amazed at the fit (and cursed myself for putting up with 30K of headaches!). I bought it on sight for $408 out the door (NJ tax included) , Left the box in the store, installed my Autocom speakers (easy... there is space for speakers/plugs) and wore it for the remaider of my trip north and the return to DC (6.5 hours). It exceeded my expectations for comfort and ventilation! It was much quieter that the Shark, which "whistles" when the top vent is open. Overall, very pleased!!!!
