Attack Foot Controls for the 2004-06 Yamaha YZF-R1 represent the highest level of design engineering and adjustability Attack Performance has yet achieved.
A priority was ensuring that the OEM shift rod could be linked to the foot control so that the unique "through-the-frame" feature would be retained, and that switching from standard pattern to GP-reverse pattern shifting would be a simple affair, requiring no additional hardware.
The photos below illustrate how this works.
Looking at the left side foot control from the frame side, standard shift pattern set-up is revealed - the female/male Heim joint is connected to the lower position.
As you can see, switching from standard to reverse pattern shifting is easy, and requires no extra hardware.
Mounted up, the OEM shift shaft goes through the R1-s frame - the way it ought to.
