Pros: When I received the bag, the box was a little deceiving. I thought it was going to be a little smaller than what it really was.
Opened it up, and started to test fit a few supplies inside, and wow could I fit a lot. Got almost all my school books inside with my laptop, and still had room to spare.
Once you put it on the tank, it actually isn't too bad for comfort when leaning against it.
To comment on one of the other reviews... The snaps for the map pocket do seem a little weak. But on my tank bag, I have not had any problems yet with the snaps coming loose or the map pocket not fitting (I did try out a little bit of highway usage with the tank bag, and still no problems).
Using just the magnets to secure the bag to the bike I have had no problems yet, they seem to hold pretty well, and seem secure enough to not warrant using the velcro straps.
Cons: Only thing I dislike is the straps for using it as a backpack, they are just a little too "flimsy" in my opinion... But then again it's a "Tank Bag" and not a backpack, so I can't complain too much. Still a great purchase.

By Tim - Katana 750 from Upstate, NY - where we still have snow on 04/09/2008
Pros: The tank bag is good size, I bought it to fit my work Laptop, which it does nicely, even my peronal Laptop with a WIDE screen there is plenty of room. I carry my cell phone, my laptop with Power Supply, my bagged lunch, and several customer files, along with extra gloves, water, sunglasses, and the rain cover. This is a great bag, and my only suggestion is improvements to the snaps for the map pocket. The magnetic mounts work well on my Katana 750, and do not yet seem to scratch the tank any. I have not tried the straps with it, but they appear to be good as well. I like the "backpack" straps, as carrying a laptop with all its accessories is difficult with the top handle. I like the carbon look too. Fits well, performs well, great price!
I am looking to get the matching Rear bag for longer trips, or overnighters. Excellent products!
Cons: The Map pocket snap buttons will not snap closed, and the map pocket flew off within the first 1/2 mile from my home. I tried warming it to stretch it a little in the length, and it held on for a while, but once I un-snapped it to put my cellphone inside it came right off again (at 10 mph). The pocket itself is too small to put a useful size (readable) map into it, although I do like the location of it. Bi-focals make it tough to see a smaller map!
