Pros: Different set up than (see add't comments) previous pack, but clear instructions made it an easy install. New pack gave a wider, more progressive friction zone that was easier to modulate. Also the new pack didn't have the tendency to heat up and bite suddenly when being slipped a lot like the my older one.
Good snug fit on the friction plates in the basket.
Cons: None so far
This new set up uses one special friction plate that has a larger inner diameter. Inside that friction plate one inserts 1 flat ring and one beveled. This acts like beveled ring that used to sit at one engine side of the stack.
The new stack and it's new friction plate/spring moved the engagement point a lot closer to the bar. Just took some getting used to.
I've only got about 500 miles on the plate stack at this point so I can't comment too heavily. No problems or cons so far, and some Pros. so to date it's a winner for me.
Not giving it a 5 since it wasn't life changing or anything. But at this time, I would buy this again if needed.
