The Airtex Shirt is made specially for those hot States where heat and humidity make you face that old dilema - ride in a T-shirt and be cool and unprotected, or wear a suit and get cooked alive! The Airtex Shirt is made from a ventilated material similar to that of basketball vests. We now have a great stretch mesh which works nearly as well as the lycra in the Europe Shirts.

You may be just riding across town commuting to work or touring or maybe it's just too hot! But we somehow don't feel comfortable riding 'naked.' Many people are into dynamic sports: skiing mountain biking in-line skating etc. The Bohn Boydguard System gives you valuable and comfortable day-long protection.
Pros: It seems to be a very substantial armored shirt. It is sure a lot better than wearing no armor and it is pretty comfortable. I enjoy my rides more, knowing that I am well protected. As I have gotten older, I find that I like my skin and other body parts to stay where they are and in good shape. This is one of the best products you can buy for that purpose. When it is not feasible to wear a leather jacket with armor, this is the next best thing.
Cons: It is a little expensive, but what is your body worth? And, it is a lot cheaper than a good leather jacket and especially a long stay in the hospital!!!!!
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: Order according to Bohn's chart. The sizing is right on. It will seem a little small at first. but, as you wear it you will get used to it. It needs to fit snug, because this is what keeps the armor in place.
I really like the Bohn Airtex shirt and I will probably buy one in the mesh version by summer time. I am going to see how this one works in the 90+ heat with 95 percent humidity first. The prices at KneeDraggers.com are excellent and so is their service. I like doing business with them and will do so again. Remember, Live to Ride and Ride to Live.
