Armored Pants Bohn Pants though are a revelation! How many of us just like to ride in Blue Jeans? It's like they were invented for motorcycling! But somehow our knees feel rather exposed, to say nothing of hips. We fit comfortable hip pads with slim articulated knee and shin armor - all designed to fit under your jeans. Your friends will never know
Features:
We now offer Pants in 2 specs: Armored Pants—with Bohn Zorb Armor in knee/shin and Bohn Komfort in hips—and Adventure Pants—with Bohn Zorb Armor in knee/shin and Bohn Komfort in hips plus Bohn Komfort thigh protection and our exclusive multi-layered flexible tailbone section
About one quarter of our shirts and pants are bought by women who find the unisex styling practical and comfortable. Unlike jackets - where you often choose a larger size for comfort when you wear other garments underneath - Bohn Bodyguard should be selected closest to your 'real' size; this way it will fit snug and firm holding the armor in the correct position. Most people simply wear a T-shirt underneath their armor then add a sweater if needed under their leather or other jacket
CARE AND LONGEVITY: The armor easily removes for washing in a regular washing machine. There is no shrinking. When touring many people wash their suits overnight in their motel room. The big advantage with this system is that you have a versatile armor system which you can wear under your other jackets or suits and will last you many years
Pros: Seems like it will add good protection for slow speed falls.
Cons: Didn't realize that thigh pads weren't "mounted". You just shove them in. Not sure if they will stay in place.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Bohn Bodyguard Armored Pants
By bluesman77 from NE Ohio
Pros: If the knee armor would stay in position, this would be a very good product. Leather can be so uncomfortable when it's hot - these seemed like a good solution and would be for some.
Cons: I found the knee armor rotates anytime my knees are bent and slides off my knee caps leaving them unprotected. I e-mailed Bohn, NOT Knee Draggers, and asked for help with this issue, since I had purchased directly from Bohn on sale. They wrote back I could not return them and offered no suggestion as to how to keep the armor in position over my knee caps.
Comments: I have purchased other products from Knee Draggers and have had absolutely no problem with them. Again, these pants were purchased directly from Bohn. I e-mailed them twice regarding my problem.... (Read the rest of this review)

Pros: 1. Armor stays where its needed for protection.
2. Provides impact protection.
3. Comfortable while walking because armor stays in place instead of sagging, etc. like overpants or other motorcycle riding pants.
Cons: 1. Pants are very warm in hot weather conditions -- but I'd rather sweat than bang up a knee or hip.
2. Consider them as impact protection only. For abrasion protection, wear protective motorcycle pants over this armor.
3. Zippers on leg openings are uncomfortable under some boots. Would suggest that Bohn change to velcro closures.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: If in between sizes, go down in size.
Comments: No crash experience, but my feeling is that the knee armor will stay in place and provide protection in a get off. This makes these pants superior to the armor in other pairs of motorcycle pants I... (Read the rest of this review)
