Although our ProRacers are breaking traditions with color schemes never seen before on protection products, there is a continuing love of black by motorcyclists of all types. We have just produced a special limited run of totally black ProRacers with Carbon Fiber material in the insert areas. The carbon set against the black leather and mesh just looks awesome! Available in Long and Short lengths, both versions feature Carbon/Kevlar reinforced additional raised sections in strategic areas.

Tailbone Protection: Highsiding happens suddenly and catapults the rider up in the air. Often he lands in the same sitting position on the tarmac! The Proracer tailbone protection helps cushion this impact. Additional length is needed to wrap around the butt for when you are in the riding position. As the backing material is flexible you do not notice it.

Pros: covers shoulder blades and tail bone; kidney strap helps hold it in place.

Cons: The additional protection comes at a price - this thing is bulky - especially under leathers.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

I chose the Pro Racer since I wanted as much protection as possible - and it brings it. But be aware that this thing is bulky and may not fit under your leathers. I'm 6'2''; 200 lbs' athletic build wearing AGV Sport size 46. I can get the leathers on by myself without the back protector, but not without help when wearing the protector. Even with the kidney strap, the protector pushes up and its tough to get the leathers around the upper shoulder protection on the armor. Once you're in though, it's fine. Out of the box, the protector is a little stiff, as one would expect. I'm hoping that after a few outings, it'll get broken in and be easier to put on. My suggestion - try this thing on under your leathers before you buy.
