I have always been a Corsa III guy for the track. I recently picked up an '08 GSX-R750 that had Bridgestone BT-016 stock. I never felt very confident with this tire on the street, but I had heard that the aftermarket BT-016 was a much better tire. What better way to test this than to put them on the track at Virginia International Raceway! I was a little uneasy about putting these tires on the track, but was very surprised at the performance of these tires. Never felt the tires squirming. Better than the Corsa III? Too close to call, but initial turn-in is slower with the -016's. Great tires for the track, but I'm no Valentino Rossi either! Overall...very pleased and plan on taking them to Barber Motorsports Park next month.
