 Most Capable Hypersport Tire Yet.

By Samuel from Philadelphia, PA

Pros: Better center life than the BT-014s. More grip on the sides of the tire. Cleaner profile than the Perellis as well as much cheaper.

Cons: Different compounds move and come into their optimum zones at different temperatures. Simply put if its a cooler day and the track temperature is low, the sides of the tires will work great, but the center will tend to slide noticeably more than it does on a hotter day. This is due to the tendency of harder compounds to use higher heat ranges. Therefore, the sides of your tires will be toast after two or three track days or less if its really hot.

Those of you who have sportbikes whose OEM rear size is 190/50/17 Such as the RC51; ditch the 190/50 and get a 190/55. This will cure the lazy feeling of the rear end. This will make the rear behave in a much more linear fashion. As well as putting more rubber on the road giving more grip this will also cure the lack of "flickability" of the 190/50 tire. Yes, you will have to do some goemetric correction when setting the sag, but the gain is worth the 20 minutes or less you will spend correcting the geometry.

 best street tires...PERIOD!!!

By Anonymous from hayward, ca

Pros: these are the best tire you can get for the streets/ twisties, great grip and tire wear. heats up really quick and makes you feel more confident in the corners. 3 layer compound tire; middle is hard for better wear, sides are soft, and edges are even softer. there is no other streets/ canyons/ twisties/ etc. that can outperform this one...yet.

Cons: these tires are the best on the streets/ twisties, but on the track, it has its limits. depending on your skill level and the temperature, they will only last, at most, a couple of track days. its all do to overheating of the edge compound, its too soft.

Comments: all the motorcycle tire manufacturers make many different types of tires for each type of bike out there, from cruiser to dual sport, street to track, etc. to make a long story short, get the tire... (Read the rest of this review)
