    A Must-Have for the Female Rider |
By Nicole R. from Greenville, MS
Pros: I purchased Joe Rocket Jet Set (Red/Black/White) approximately 6 weeks ago. I've used it on roughly 25 rides and it has already proven to be worth the money! The back of the jacket has a great "V" shape detail which is long enough to cover "buttage" in the lowest pair of jeans! That's right ladies! No more griping boyfriends! The jacket is very warm and and padded in all the right places. The sleeves are long enough for taller riders and the liner offers just enough warmth for your chest and back area on colder days. The vents on the sleeves and back of the jacket offer optimal air flow, so the jacket can be used in weather up to 82 degrees, on a cloudy day, of course! The collar is snug enough to prevet too much air flow to the upper chest and the wrist area of the sleeves fit comfortably. Overall, this jacket gives me a strong sense of security and looks feminine without being too girlie! The compliments are still rolling in!
Cons: The shoulder pads are THICK! They're also removable, so I mostly ride with them out. I always feel bulky (in the shoulders) when I put them in.
I ordered Joe Rocket Jet Set size extra small. I am 5'7", 118lbs., 31-25.5-37. The jacket felt tight at first, but the leather loosened after about 4 wears and really conformed to my body shape and stretching needs. If you are larger than 32" in the chest area, you should not order an extra small. It may be too tight once you put the liner in. Happy Riding!!!

    Love it! |
By Michelle from Atlanta, GA
Pros: I ordered the blue/black and think it's just feminine enough for my taste. It comes down really low in the back so I don't have to worry about the jacket riding up and getting hung up in the back of my jeans. And it gives plenty of room in the hips. All the padding sits in just the right spots unlike my other jacket where the elbow pads slid below my elbow... very annoying. It offers a nice sense of protection which is much appreciated when riding around in this insane Atlanta traffic! I went riding the day it arrived and got caught in a torrential downpour on the way home. Though my boots had about 3" of water in them, I was bone dry from the shoulders to the waist! Fits snugly in all the right places.
Cons: The arms might be a tad bit long but nothing too severe.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: I like my jackets just a tad loose in the waist/hip area to give me room to move around and this jacket is perfect! I'm 5'6" with a 38" bust, 33" waist, and about 40" in the hips and the XL fits perfectly.
Comments: Love it, love it, LOVE it!!

    Sexay! |
By Krystal<3 from Newport Beach, CA
Pros: Um, it's hot. And by hot I mean, I get just as many compliments from guys as I do girls. The arms are long enough, and I do have a long torso, but the back covers long enough. The inner lining is removable, as are the pads which is nice. I feel SAFE wearing this jacket! The leather is holding up nicely, as are the seams. I thought the colors would fade because I am in the sun all the time, but it still looks great! The air vents are great for summer, just as much as the liner helps during the winter. ** A little something extra-the patches on the sides of the arms are super cute!!
Cons: Having had this jacket for about a year now, and wearing it pretty much everyday, the pink leather near the zipper is starting to fade. That's pretty much it. I have heard comments from friends when they try it on, that it's tight across the chest(sadly I've never had that problem, just something to keep in mind if you consider yourself um...big chested). The only other possible downside might be the price, but it's leather, extremely well made, and durable! You get what you pay for.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: The leather does tend to stretch out a bit, especially if you wear a sweatshirt underneath...I bought my jacket last year, and through the winter months, had to wear a sweatshirt or 2 underneath. Now that it is summer, I find that there is quite a bit of extra room.
Comments: All around, a GREAT jacket! To be honest, it crossed my mind to write a bad review, because I have never seen another one on the road (and if you know girls riding gear, there is not much variety),... (Read the rest of this review)
