The XBi2 is our latest bike-to-bike wireless intercom that also comes equipped with A2DP Bluetooth technology. It has all the features that the XBi has but with additional power that will allow simultaneous communications between 3 riders with up to 500 meters of range [1,640 ft] in optimum conditions.

The XBi2 will allow you to stream audio signal from any source that already comes equipped with Bluetooth such as mobile telephones, MP3, GPS and even an iPod/iPhone when hooked up to a Bluetooth adapter such as our AP21 or AG12. After all, the whole point of Bluetooth is to eliminate that pesky cable that most intercoms are dependent on for receiving audio signals.

The XBi2 will allow for up to 6-8 hours of true talk time and 48 hours of standby time on one charge.

Kit Includes:

  • XBi2 Unit
  • Microphone/Speakers
  • Rechargeable/Replaceable Li-poly Battery
  • Mounting Hardware
  • AC/DC Home Charger

Rain proof alternative to Scala Rider Q2

By Anonymous from TN

Pros: Durable, easy bluetooth pairing, good range. Rider to Rider - nice!

Cons: Speakers are large and hurt ears. No windsock on microphone, poor filtering of ambient noise. Sound quality a poor second to the SCALA Rider Q2.

Bought this after reading that the Scala Rider Q2 should not be used in heavy rain. The unit seems durable and unlike the Scala Rider, the warranty does not exclude damage due to rain. But the speakers are larger and not as well padded as the Scala Rider, the microphone is clunky, wind-filtering is non-existent, and the overall sound quality just doesn't compare. Still, if you are riding in lots of rain, this is better than voiding your warranty on the Scala set.

By Chett from NY

Pros: can hear very clearly at highway speeds. nice large buttons are acessible with thick leather gloves

Cons: u cannot directly make calls from the device itself. you can only redial. Putting it together was a hassle because there is a tiny screw that has to be put on and the whole it had to be in was hard to get to. The velcrow provided it terrible. I end up super glueing the speakers to the inside of my helmet. It also doesn't automatically connect to your phone even after the pairing options. in my car wen I turn my car on, the bluetooth built into the car will connect automatically. With this Xbi unit you have to turn it on then go to your phone and manually connect to it. I also wish I knew when the battery is going to die.

 Amazing peice of equipment

By Ryan Nichols from Baltimore, MD

Pros: Intercom - Perfect (can hear and communicate with other biker 80mph TESTED!!!) Bluetooth - Perfect (can hear and communicate on phone pass 100mph TESTED!!!) With Earplugs - Perfect(The only way I ride) Best thing is looking behind me at a stop light and telling my father 20'' in front of me with his music on full blast in engine roaring "theres a cop behind us" and him hearing me loud and clear without the cop knowing a thing.

Cons: A little hard to set up the intercom. remember one second means push once and release not hold down for one second. Thats all.

Comments: I have been looking for a better way to enjoy my music and riding at the same time. The intercom and phone use is just icing on the cake and believe it taste so good. MUST BUY!!!!
