Communicate rider to passenger via CDMA crystal clear technology, using either voice activation or push-to-talk. Both rider and passenger module is capable of pairing with up to two accessory devices at the same time. (ex. iPod, Mp3, satellite radio, GPS, cell phone, radar detector) SMART technology will automatically prioritize the transmission of the paired devices. The XBi is so far advanced that it can even stream music from one module to the other. Each module is also capable of being used by itself to pair accessories when riding alone.

Sweet no wires chatting and more

Pros: - Small - Easy install - Easy pairing and setup - Great controls which are easy to use with gloves on (audible tone confirmation of key presses) - full stereo from my BlackBerry... oh so nice - I won't use phone feature but my wife could not tell when I called her from the road at speed - Battery life seems longer than they claim - Charges really fast and while we haven't charged them at a lunch break you certainly could or even a a coffee stop

Cons: - Don't know how good they woudl be for bike to bike as they are designed for on bike two-up. We don't use that so we haven't tested it and don't know. - Can't change out batteries

Install was easy and testing in the living room proved fine and we looked damn cool but squidly wouldn't even begin to describe our attire. I figured it was going to take some pretty serious platform building to get the speakers and mics where they would work. Nope... they worked great on our first test ride to Lexington with no need for any adjustments, just turn them on and go. In town they are awesome and need nothing and on the highway I needed 2 clicks up from middle volume to hear perfectly at 70 mph. Nice! Bluetooth pairs with Blackberry and delivers really nice stereo music (Freddie Cole in this case) to both headsets. Sound quality is only as good as the speakers which I really do not think are very high fidelity but the jazz sounded nice. The R1200RT may contribute to this as there is a nice pocket of moving but smooth air around us when I adjust the windshield to just the right height. They work up to... well, pretty high speeds. :) No wires at all, pure joy.

Not as good as advertised

Pros: It works well with Blue Tooth. The size and fit to the helmet is great.

Cons: Does not have the volume needed to converse with my wife at higher speed or when the wind is higher. It also echos.

Comments: I am not as happy with the product. I have found that the Chatterbox Xbi does not develiver the volume needed for us to converse well at higher speeds and as a result when the wind is stronger.... (Read the rest of this review)

Pros: It does what they say it does. Very nice, and lite product!!!!!

Cons: needs to be waterproof need plastic bag or something to cover when in wet conditions

Comments: well worth the money!!!!!!!!
