NOTICE!  Please Read The Following Important Product Notes:
• Two kits will be needed for rider to passenger setup
• Manufacturer Update: Both open face kits and full-face kits are available and shipping now!

Communicate rider to passenger via CDMA crystal clear technology, using either voice activation or push-to-talk. Both rider and passenger module is capable of pairing with up to two accessory devices at the same time. (ex. iPod, Mp3, satellite radio, GPS, cell phone, radar detector) SMART technology will automatically prioritize the transmission of the paired devices. The XBi is so far advanced that it can even stream music from one module to the other. Each module is also capable of being used by itself to pair accessories when riding alone.

Other features include:

  • Li-Po (lithium polymer) rechargeable battery with 6-8 TRUE hours of power
  • 1 hour express charge
  • Compact aerodynamic module design

XBi Kit (full face and open face) will include:

  • 1 XBi Module
  • 1 Li-Po battery
  • 1 Wall charger
  • 1 Noise suppression Hi-Fi headset
  • 1 Mounting hardware

Please note, if ordering the "XBi (unit only)" it is exactly that - the UNIT ONLY, no battery, no charger... only the unit.

If it only had better speakers and A2DP controls...

By Carlos from Lexington park, MD

Pros: It is easy to use and pair, even though I only use the same device for music/phone. The connection worked better than my Motorola S9s. Battery life has been about 7 hours (1 hour of continuous use at a time). Versatile inputs/outputs.

Cons: It is an easy install but not on my helmet. My KBC and my Sparx helmets fit very close to the ears and mouth. There was no room for this and I had to cut the foam to make room. It still was not too bad but I had to modify the helmet. Lack of a forward/back start/stop functionality is a big deal on a device like this. I wish a software update would reprogram the power button to multifunction as a start/stop also. The same for the intercom (fwd), and mode (back). Then theres sound quality. It is very poor. With hardly any low frequency coverage (bass response is terrible), those speakers are weak. The one call I tried it with, they could not hear me when I was riding and I had to stop (may be a good thing after all).

Pros: Easy to install, Easy to setup, and light weight. The bluetooth functions on the XBi make this a no brainer for anyone that rides for long periods of time.

Comments: Kneedraggers boxed it up and shipped it out in no time. Arrived exactly when they said it would with no delays.

Sweet no wires chatting and more

By Dave from Boston, USA

Pros: - Small - Easy install - Easy pairing and setup - Great controls which are easy to use with gloves on (audible tone confirmation of key presses) - full stereo from my BlackBerry... oh so nice - I won't use phone feature but my wife could not tell when I called her from the road at speed - Battery life seems longer than they claim - Charges really fast and while we haven't charged them at a lunch break you certainly could or even a a coffee stop

Cons: - Don't know how good they woudl be for bike to bike as they are designed for on bike two-up. We don't use that so we haven't tested it and don't know. - Can't change out batteries

Comments: Install was easy and testing in the living room proved fine and we looked damn cool but squidly wouldn't even begin to describe our attire. I figured it was going to take some pretty serious... (Read the rest of this review)
