 Good, but not great

By Sabrina from Burke, VA

Pros: Good quality leather, snaps/zippers seem like they'll hold up well. Has curves to it, definitely can tell it's a female jacket. Perforated leather panels under the arms lend flexibility to the otherwise pretty stiff jacket.

Cons: The fit. I had to order a 2XL which meant I had to return the large and extra large. I'm 5'6" and 165lbs. Ordering the 2XL means that the jacket now fits ok in the chest (I'm a C cup), but the sleeves are too long. I may end up paying big money to have them shortened. Also beware, the "liner" isn't truly a liner, it's a vest. The sleeves do not have the extra lining. There neck is a little interesting as well. There are NO chest pockets for alpinestars chest armor. There is also no way to replace the shoulder or elbow "padding". Since the sleeves are too long, the padding isn't in exactly the right place for me, but I'll just have to deal with it. The back padding is replaceable, and I put in the alpinestars rated back protector, which makes the chest tighter. There is very little on this jacket that's reflective. The piping around the edges is, but that doesn't help much. There are 2 small pockets in the vest, and 1 zippered pocket in the actual jacket.

Overall, I wish I would have spent the extra money for the Stella NYC, which is a significantly nicer jacket.

 ASTARS greatest creation for women

By Katie from Kent, Wa

Pros: THIS JACKET IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. IT BRINGS OUT THE FEMALE IN YOU WHILE RIDING. WELL VENTILATED AND HAS A REMOVABLE LINER. PLENTY OF POCKETS FOR ALL THE NECESSITIES. FITS CURVES ALMOST TO A T.

Cons: THE ONLY CONS I FOUND TO THIS JACKET, IS AS EVERYONE ELSE STATES...IS THE CHEST AREA. I STAND SMALL AT 5'0, HOWEVER I HAD TO GO WITH A LARGE DUE TO HAVING BIGGER THEN A 'C' IN CHEST SIZE. THE MED MADE IT TO WHERE I COULDNT BREATH.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

 cute jacket and feminine too

By Anonymous from Anytown, USA

Pros: Funtionality is great - plenty of pockets inside for cell, cards, cash and lip gloss. :) It fits well, and look feminine rather than bulky and butch.

Cons: a little tight in the chest - but if you are smaller than a C you should be fine, otherwise a little squished

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: got the med as I am a size 6-8 usually but larger chested

Gorgeous but SNUG until broken in - Heaven to ride in!

By bobboli from Sacramento, USA

Pros: The workmanship is impeccable -- fantastic riding comfort even when new/snug, and it makes me look like a babe! I am not big-chested, so well-endowed women might feel like they're getting a mammogram. But I do think I'd rather have it form-fitting in the chest, vs. having the sleeves too long or shoulders too wide -- that's a bigger problem IMHO. And it DOES stretch to conform to you body. I LOVE this jacket!

Cons: If you're planning to use this with the Stella track pants, you'll have to have one side of the zipper (that comes with the pants) sewn into this jacket. It doesn't come with the back zipper. This isn't necessary unless you're doing track days, where most tracks do require the pants & jacket zipped together.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: Even though it felt snug when I first tried it on, it did fit perfectly in the sleeve length and should width, so I consulted a racer friend who said that new leathers are better snug than loose since they will progressively stretch as you wear them. It really is true to the size it will stretch to, so order your true size.

Love it--but those with boobs should read on.... =)

By mindy from austin, tx

Pros: looks great, high quality materials/construction. lots of zippered pockets & interior pockets.

Cons: this wasn't a con for me but could be for someone else---i got the white/black jacket, and although the internet pics make the white look like a bright flat white, in reality the white is more of a creamy pearl white. i like it, but it did catch me by surprise when i first opened the box.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: since there weren't any local shops with this jacket in stock for me to try on, i based my size selection on the size chart provided by astars and the jacket fits just about perfectly. it is a little tight in the chest and neck---i don't have much in the way of cleavage so this is a warning to the lucky women who are well-endowed: try it on before buying, or buy a size larger! on the other end of the spectrum, what i lack in cleavage i make up for in hips. even though the jacket fits tight around the chest it seems to fit around the hips perfectly, without opening the side zippers.
