Pros: Very nice balaclava. The day after I received this from Kneedraggers.com, I rode to work (20 minute ride) and the ambient temp was 28 degrees. The St-Wind did a great job of keeping me warm in the neck and head area. I did feel just a tad of coolness, but not anywhere near compared to not wearing anything. I would estimate it blocks 90% of the wind. It is fleece lined and does not irritate the skin, and I found that it is thin enough that it did not interfere with my helmet fit (I wear a KBC lid and it fits tight.) I would highly recommend it to other cold weather riders as a must have item.
