 perfect fit

By Ricardo from New york, APO AE on 04/04/2008

Pros: These pants are real comfortable and give that stylish look when your riding. I like the fact that the pants have leather panels in the hips, rear and knees for extra sheilding and protection.

Cons: The knee pad pockets are alittle spacious causing the knee pads to move around.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Overall review of the pants is a 5, just for the fact that these pants are so comfortable and have the extra safety features. For the price they are well worth it, it beats buying leathers with would be alot more expensive and hot with sunny weather. You get the comfort of jeans with the protection of leathers for a fraction of the price. Kudos to cortech.

Pros: Great product. I was looking at the Icon series of riding jeans initially and I am glad I made the choice to get these. They are very comfortable and actually have added protection in the seat and knees. The Icon jeans are exactly that...just another pair of $90 jeans.

Cons: The knee protectors do tend to move around in the oversize pockets. I hand stitched the pockets to match up to the fit of my jeans. It's a little time consuming but ends up working great.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Comments: Great product. Does exactly what it is sypposed to do - looks like regular jeans but adds the protection of leather for the worse case scenario. Shipping from Kneedraggers was also excellent -... (Read the rest of this review)

 Interesting Fit

By Ryan from Oregon on 10/10/2007

Pros: Pants feel good while riding (both pairs). The armor in the knees feel weird while anywhere but on the bike. The position of the pads has been adjusted for having your knees higher than normal. They are more suited to sport bikes and super bikes, not cruisers. Good for moderate weather.

Cons: Not good for inclement weather.Inconsistent sizing.

Sizing Info: Other

Additional Sizing Notes: I bought two pairs of these pants and orders them the same size. One size in blue, one size in black. When they arrived I was surprised to find that the blue pair fits extremely tight, much like the Wranglers I used to wear as a kid. The Black pair however fits extremely loose, practically falling off.

 Pants run large

By Anonymous from Anytown, USA on 07/26/2007

Pros: Seem heavy and well made. Like the leather in the seat and knee areas. Look like regular jeans and are comfortable.

Cons: Hard to get fitted properly. Legs are baggy and don't hold the knee armor where it belongs.

Sizing Info: Fits 1 size larger

Additional Sizing Notes: The shortest inseam length was still too long. Had them shortened by taking material from mid leg, between the seat seam and the knee seam. Made the mistake of not getting them fit while I was sitting on a bike and now they are too short and the knee armor is too high, my fault.

Comments: Would buy again but if they need fitted do it while sitting in your ridding position.
