Cortech GX Sport Series 2 Textile Jacket

Pros: This is an awesome jacket its very comfortable. It breathes really really well, I have worn it in temps over 85F and not sweated until I had to stop for a light. Its also very warm for the cool days. I have the red one and its really nice looking and seems to be built very well I fell very protected with it on.

Pros: This is a great all around jacket and represents a great value/price ratio. I didn't expect too much because of the low price and it turned out to be my favorite jacket. The vents work great and there are plenty of pockets, which actually come in handy. The combination liner/vents make riding in all seasons possible. I was in California recently and rode from 30 degrees to 100 degrees and this was the only jacket I used. By combining use of the liner when it was cold and then pulling out the liner and unzipping the vents when it was hot, this jacket did it all in comfort.

Comments: Finally, I unfortunately had a get off and though the jacket suffered some wear, I was left without a scratch. In fact, I'm still using the same jacket until I get a new one!

Pros: This jacket is awesome, I rode around in 87 degree weather, Hot & Humid, and this jacket kept me cool. The vents worked wel in this jacket. I have an Icon merc and a Joe Rocket Atomic and neither one works as well as this one. Feels like you have vents all over the place.

Cons: The only draw back is when stopped in traffic, you sweat like a pig. As with all textile jackets that's the only drawback.

Additional Sizing Notes: I made the mistake of ordering the jacket one size larger, but it's all good since I wear icon back protector under jacket. I simply adjusted straps to fit

Pros: 1. Very visible yellow color at the front and back. 2. Good (but light) padding on the shoulders, elbows, and in the spine area. 3. Excellent fit and styling for people who are within +/- 10 lbs of their ideal weight. 4. Inner liner for cold weather riding, can be detached in warm weather 5. jacket has very good aesthetics.

Cons: 1. Sizing does not leave much room for error - but that was not an issue for me.

Additional Sizing Notes: I am 155 lb, 5' 8", medium build, and usually wear "medium" t-shirts and I ordered this jacket in "medium" size. It fits very well. It's extremely form-fitting and though the jacket can be adjusted for a better fit, if you have a substantial bulge in the middle, this is going to be a tight fit.

Comments: Overall, very satisfied with this purchase. Good value, but haven't crash-tested it yet!

Pros: I bought this jacket in Febuary 08 and am very pleased with it. It is warm and toasty in cool weather and flows alot of air thru it with the liners taken out for the summer. It feels heavy and durable but fits comfortable. It flows so much air that if you even think you will encounter cool weather take the liners with you, you will be glad you did.Thankfully i have not had to use the protective part of it yet (Armor-Leather) but i feel confident it would perform well if called to duty. It has lots of pockets for all your gadgets and adjustable straps for the sleeves and waist that should be adjusted too fit you so the armor will stay in place if you take a spill. It even has a zipper in the back to hook on to your riding pants if you wish.
