  • D.I.D X-Ring reduces friction by twisting between the side plates instead of being squashed.
  • Normal O-Rings and other makers' modified O-Rings have squashed points that increase friction.
  • The twisting resilience of the X-Ring's four sections greatly increases its sealing performance.
  • This keeps the dirt out and the lubrication in much better than any other O-Ring.
  • X-Rings have the greatest wear resistance of any other type of O-Ring or Non-O-Ring chain.

Pros: Smooth power delivery

Cons: chain is not evenly stretched, as examined by the mechanic after two rides, each 400kms long. could be a manufacturing defect for the chain, will still use it till the sprockets wear off or the chain gives off

Pros: Awesome chain if you are trying to minimize drivetrain weight for racing. It's slightly thinner than their other 520 chains but is supposed to maintain the same strength. Perfect for racing.

Cons: If you don't need an extra few grams of weight savings, the price wouldn't be worth it.

Pros: Was a good deal look's grate, was super that it came with the link kit.

Cons: You will need to cut the chain to fit, and will need a rivit tool to put the lik kit on. Do note, these is not a negative for the chain. You will need some skill if you plan to do it your self.

Pros: Fancy gold racer bling

Cons: Wears fast, o rings (x rings?) tend to decay, Little bits of O Ring (X ring?) start to fly out after 8 k miles. Wears faster than DID ZVM2. 9k miles on ERV3, 15 to 20 k on ZVM2.

Comments: I like the DID ZVM2 better for mixed touring and sport riding. If I was a racer, the ERV3 might be better, but I can't distinguish the weight difference when riding on the street.
