Pros: Comfortable for long rides, but keeps you very upright. Seems to offer some protection against hyperextending your spine in the wrong direction (but not much) in addition to impact and abrasion. Unlike most back protectors, this one is CE rated (1). Most are not rated at all. Fits under a jacket well and covers most of the spine. Double-velcro kidney belts are 100% solid.
Cons: Expensive (like anything from Dianese), doesn't seem to offer too much hyperextension protection.
