Pros: The first time you wear this while riding you will notice it but after a few minutes it disappears. Works great with a backpack as the force of the backpack spreads across your back and reduces fatigue.
Cons: I can bend the plate backwards pretty easily. It is not as hard as I would like it to be (maybe there is a reason for that). But I'm not sure how much it would do to avoid hyper extension of the back.
Comments: Kinda pricey for what it is... But wouldn't ride without one.

Pros: slides right into the dainese jacket i have. its pretty light, u can feel it in the jacket but its comfortable. flexes nicely in the jacket

Pros: This is a real nice back insert. Like most Dainese gear the G2 is top quality. It is very comfortable, like it's not even there, but is sturdy and feels like it would do its job in a get off
Cons: This is not really a con, but I bought this insert for an Alpinestars Stage jacket. The Alpinestars CE cert. back insert is extremely ridged and made the whole jacket uncomfortable, so I looked for other options. The Dainese is smaller than the pocket the jacket has but I rigged the Dainese with some velcro to the foam pad that comes with the jacket and now the Dainese insert sits perfectly in my Alpinestars Stage.
