BLACK JACK is undoubtedly the most stylish of the short goatskin gloves. Created with a "vintage" feel, Black Jack makes the wearer feel as if he's just stepped out of an old film, with its retro shape and gold print. A vintage feel, yes, but cutting edge protective technology, thanks to its special EVA cushions on the knuckles and back of the hand and the use of extremely soft, resistant.
Pros: I was getting tired of dressing like a superhero every time I went out for a short ride, so I decided to get something simple and stylish but that still offered some protection for my mitts. These gloves do just that. They are exceptionally well made, and the leather is thicker (but also softer) than my racing style gloves. I wear them almost every time I ride now, except in rain or if I plan to do some very aggressive riding. On a recent long trip I wore them the whole time. I've put 6k+ of riding on these in the last few months and they still look like new.
Cons: These gloves offer no wrist protection, and the open area on the back of the hand has given me a very strange tan line. But in truth, it's those elements of the design that make them look so good, so I can't really complain.
