Approved by Valentino Rossi who used it throughout the 2007 MotoGP season, the Chest protector structure has now been placed at the disposal of one and all. The ventilated pads in composite material like the Wave Back Protector, the aluminum honeycomb structure, and the soft PE in contact with the skin all ensure the greatest breathability and comfort combined with the ergonomics of the shapes designed to follow the lines of the human body.
Color: Black.

Pros: as usual, dainese's attention to cosmetic detail and style leaves nothing to be desired. very good looking product. if t stays at the chest, i've no doubts that it'd do the job it claims to do.. lightweight, comfortable. no inhibition of movt whatsoever

Cons: the problem with a stand alone chest protector ,whether it's a dainese / Astars or sumthing else is an innate problem of not stayin in place. this is particularly true if the rider is an athletic build with a narrow waist because after a "short" while the protector slips ever so subtly n comes to lie in the mid belly region [ the flex of the trunk, in the riding position, preventing it from sliding further] . ergo - no more chest protection [this inspite of snug leathers]

i do believe, unless u have a super snug jacket to hold the protector in place, it'd be a wasted investment. one would be better off buyin the armor jacket which binds back protectors and chest armours via elastic bands in a way that's make indigenous movts improbable. good options are the bohn coor air chest protector which comes with a strap or the knox ricochet chest protector which comes with a waist band.
