Way expensive... but in my opinion, worth it!

Pros: Thoughtful & effective design, quality materials & construction... achieves intended purpose quite admirably!

Cons: Expensive

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

These gloves are substantially bulkier than your standard shorty glove... but not that much larger than many of the elaborate/long sport style gloves... although much simpler, which for me is a plus. They are very well constructed, and in keeping with Dainese tradition, are made of quality materials. If you ride in the rain, the inner/outer cuff configuration is a useful way of preventing (or at least limiting) water from getting inside your gear and against your skin, if properly managed. Useful... but not foolproof. I bought these gloves less for the rain, however, and more for something more wind resistant and insulated for riding in cold weather. So far, they have met the challenge! While they are substantial, they are not so bulky as to prohibitively limit your dexterity in terms of operating controls, keeping a feel on the handlebars, etc.. I've used them in weather as cold as 45 degrees (at night) and for up to an hour riding at highway-ish speeds... and they are very wind resistant, the over/under dual-cuff design keeps the wind from entering your jacket at the cuff, and they are quite warm considering their size. There are even pull-tabs on the top and bottom of the inner cuff that effectively enable you to pull the inner cuff all the way up when putting one glove on using the other already-in-glove hand (reduced finger dexterity). Based on these initial results, I expect they will continue to perform well as the temperature drops. All in all, a wonderfully functional glove for fall and maybe winter riding, in less than ideal weather. Maybe not enough for all-day touring in nasty weather, but depending on your threshold for discomfort, maybe that too. Definitely too well insulated for summer riding, or weather warmer than about 60 degress. Also, nicely minimalistic in terms of style... simple but classy! The price tag is steep for something thats more specialized and not suitable for everyday riding, but these gloves (and a Belstaff leather jacket) are the things that are going to allow me to continue riding through the winter... and that makes it worth the cost, in my mind!
