Mekong leather pants use the same technical/stylistic language adopted by the Delta model but in a Touring version. Like Delta pants, Mekong pants employ new composite protections in the knees and shins. The only difference is that the knee sliders required only for racing have been removed. Instead of the elastic inserts featured on racing pants, leather inserts that increase comfort for longer rides and touring have been used in Mekong pants. Available in black only, Mekong pants are both extremely elegant and dynamic at the same time, and offer the perfect solution for riders with road bikes who ride with a touring spirit.

Pros: As always, 1st class quality from Dainese; material and workmanship. Material to skin is comfortable; no chafing. Looks better than the picture.

Cons: Lack ventilation and cut could be more generous in thigh and crotch area. Knee and shin guard makes walking around a chore (afterall, this is advertised for tour-style biking).

Sizing Info: Fits 1 size smaller

Additional Sizing Notes: I'm 5'8", 135 lbs 28-29 waist. Size 46 fits my waist perfectly, but the hip and thigh area is very tight. Hopefully it would stretch out some. Crotch area is extremely tight; wish they would have added more flex there. It is hard to lift leg over seat. Length goes down to just above ankle and is also tight so boots over only. European size, in my experience, is tricky.

 Great leathers

By Mati-O from Chicago, IL

Pros: I have the Firefly pants also and they look almost the same. But each stands out on its own. Great buy and no one else carries these pants so get one while u can.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: I have a 34 waist, so I need a size 50. if you need this bit of info. Fits snug but had a size 52 and it was way too big in the waist and calves so I went down a notch. u need to break these in before your first ride in them.

Comments: These are not racing pants but some of the basic protection is there and works. None of the pads are removable but why would you want to, no need. Break them in first !

By Roger from Wasilla AK.

Pros: Beautiful leather, very soft and flexible despite the thickness, calf zippers allow relatively easy on and off, very comfortable, even knee and shin armor. Plenty of adjustment at the waist.

Cons: armor is not removable, no tailbone protection, hip protection minimal.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: size 50 fits a 33" waist 5' 9" 165 LB. guy perfectly
