Dainese Merlin Pelle Leather Jacket

Pros: I find the leather on this jacket to be very high quality and the stitching seems to be strong. The thermal layer is easy to zip in or out and has been very handy for ever changing weather in Seattle. The uncommon full collar on this style of jacket should prove to provide extra protection for my fall and winter rides. The uncluttered and stylish cut of this jacket lends itself to being a great casual, off the street/track jacket, as well as exceptional piece of riding equipment.

Cons: Not necessarily a con, but I did remove the chin guard from my Shoei full-face helmet so that the collar of the jacket didn't continually press up against it.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: I am 5'8" tall, weigh 162lbs, and wear a US size 38 suit jacket I ordered this jacket in a size 48. I have found the fit of this jacket to be spot on. I have a lean medium build and would not have ordered a size larger or smaller. I would say if you have a larger neck, or have a stockier build, one jacket size might be the way to go.

Comments: I am very pleased with the quality of this jacket. This item was not in stock when I ordered it and elected to wait 3 weeks to receive it. I am glad that I did because it was worth the wait.

Pros: I am glad with this jacket. It is excellent for both riding and going out at night (removing pads is easy). The liner is an excellent feature, I live in Minneapolis and I do ride when it is above 35 and the liner does it�s job very well, keeps me quite warm for short distance trips. Leather seems nice but can not elaborate more since I own it only for a month. Has a very comfortable fit in the riding position (i ride a buell firebolt). Oh yeah one more thing, I suggest u wear it to the bar (DO NOT DRINK AND RIDE THO) it will make u look real sharp.

Cons: Price is the only issue I have. But honestly I think it is worth the $.

Pros: The style is great and the fit and cut of the jacket is very comfortable. I can wear it riding my bike or remove the armor and wear as casual. I've been searching for a nice leather with extended collar for cold weather touring without a lot of logo's etc., this jacket fit all of my criteria. I've received many compliments. It's a very cool design and the leather is nice. The look and feel is what a motorcycle jacket should bring..!!

Cons: This item was not in stock and took approximately five weeks to deliver from Italy. However, it was well worth the wait. The jacket was a little wrinkled when received but was able to work them out and the jacket looks great.

Additional Sizing Notes: I'm 6' tall and 180lbs slim built - size 56 fit just right. I used the kneedraggers measurement chart and it seemed to be fairly accurate.

Comments: I would reccomend this item to anyone looking for a killer leather jacket with style and comfort.
