Dainese Neck 5 w/ Strap

Pros: feels like you are not wearing anything. very comfortable. looks very good. hopefully it will ease my neck pain on longer rides.

Cons: Dainese claims that this is not a neck protector. it is a Neck Support. either way i'm satisfied with this product since i get neck pain from riding my sport bike for more than 50 minutes.

I'll just type what the tag says since i was not able to get this anywhere until i actually got it in my hands : "Description of Neck: The Neck project for motorcyclists was developed by Dainese technology. It comprises an articulated support for the neck which accompanies everymovement you make and supports you no matter what riding position you assume. It is a system of jointed plates which replicate the shape of the neck bone and accompany it whenever you change position on the bike. Instructions and Use: Choose Neck 5 and Neck 5 w/ strap for "sports" riding and Neck 4, Neck 6 and Neck 6 w/ shtrap for "touring:. thanks to their extra cervical plate, Neck 6 and Neck 6 w/ strap more fully support neck movements. The Neck range integrates perfectly with the relative Dainese garments, except for Neck 5 with strap and Neck 6 with strap which are self-supporting thanks to the anatomical braces. Washing: do not wash with water. remove dirt with a damp cloth. WARNING: Dainese neck is not a protector and does not protect users from falls, impacts, neck twisting, etc.. Dainese declines all liability for any damage or injury suffered by Dainese Neck users.
