I am 5'7" and about 130 lbs (a womens size 4). I bought these pants in a size 44 and they were painfully snug at first. I had to unbutton them to sit in a chair (not on the bike) and getting my foot up on the peg was slightly difficult. Everyone I talked to said they would stretch a lot (which is why I bought a pair that felt snug), and after about 6 or 7 rides they did. Now they fit me perfectly and are really, really comfortable.
