This jacket fits me like a second skin, which is great because it's super hard for me to find gear that fits (I'm 5'5" and 125 lbs, I ordered euro 46). Get it in white because white is a badass color and at least drivers will be able to see you unlike black.
I still need a back protector for it but I'm currently recovering from a crash (I was wearing a different jacket) so I have some time before I'll need it.
I recommend this jacket 100% if you are willing to spend for Dainese. I would have been perfectly happy with a cheaper brand, but Dainese is the only company making sport jackets in white in my size.
Now if I could just convince KneeDraggers to take more pictures of their Dainese gear (they only have stock photos, and for whatever reason Dainese does not have near enough pictures... I had to search online to see what this jacket looks like in white). Please! I want more gear but I need to see it first :)

dainese [even the name has a sinister ring]
By ss from pennsylvania on 06/06/2008
Pros: perfectly designed for the job it was meant to do. super cool looks.
came out in 2007. the leather is strong but pliable. the composite protectors fit nicely in the riding position and afford tons of protection. standing at traffic lights on a hot day will make u very sweaty- but when in motion, the perforations work very well indeed.
Cons: the neck section is not as good as the other brands which have neoprene collars.
the price is certainly prohibitive for a lot o folks. [ u will have to buy a backspace G protector n that costs additional money]
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: i wear 39- 40 size shirts and the dainese euro 48/ usa 38 fits nicely at the shoulders.
athletic people [ read - real slim waists wont find it very snug at the waist level]
Comments: around the time of it's appearance, the jacket had good sturdy leather but it has lost out to subsequent generations of the same company by virtue of the leather not being soft. dainese has learnt... (Read the rest of this review)

WOW!
By Fernando from Bay Area, USA on 05/19/2008
Pros: WOW!!! The leather jacket felt like it's already broken in, it's really soft...protections on shoulders and elbows are great doesn't feel bulky or in the way of movements...extremely comfortable!!! The perforations really bring the airflow through the jacket...great for summer riding. Mini speed hump on back works like a charm on the freeway...once you tuck down and rest your helmet on the hump...the usual wind that rattles you helmet is almost completely gone...so less strain on your neck by trying to keep your head steady. Overall is a great jacket for all season, because during winter you can zip on the micro-down lining.
Cons: Price...but then again you get what you pay for, it's not just because of the brand name you pay a fortune.
