The use of new Misano 2 L Gore Tex fabric let the D-Tec technicians distribute volumes ideally, to the extent that the removable homologated composite protections on the shoulders and elbows pass virtually unnoticed. Misano 2 L Gore Tex fabric is bonded directly to the Gore Tex membrane with taped internal seam stitching. This constructive feature permits reductions in weight at no expense to excellent breathability, water repellence and wind-cheating performance. Numerous touches emphasise the painstaking attention to detail, like the removable, reversible thermal liner with double collar for greater thermal insulation, the waterproof gaiter at the jacket's bottom hem that prevents water from rising up, and the double front closing flap that guarantees complete water repellence, in addition to absolutely waterproof external pockets.
