The Paris-Dakar Rally has been amazing, enthusing, and bringing the magic of the desert to Europe’s collective imagination for the last 29 years, all the way from its heart in Paris to the heart of Africa in Dakar. This is a passion that Dainese has also shared for many years, ever since it first decided to start providing riding gear for the greatest Paris-Dakar champions from Edi Orioli to Ciro De Petri. The story of the Paris-Dakar race and its protagonists has led to the birth of the first Dainese item completely dedicated to this fascinating event: the Superdune jacket. Leather enhanced by "garment-dyeing", totally “desert inspired” colors, and lateral air vents and removable protections invariably remind bikers of desert sand and all the determination and concentration you need to ride “floating” over the sand.
