The new W-Frame Prof. Racing Suit is an achievement of great technological innovation and a symbol of the degree of mastery acquired by D-Tec®, the Dainese R&D Department. The most significant technical innovations regard the brand new ventilation system and the choice of materials that ensure the greatest freedom of movement and the highest level of comfort. Ventilation is ensured by the new aerodynamic hump with a stiff body in which air inlets have been inserted for greater air passage. Another patented Dainese system is the localized leather perforation system that permits air inlets to be positioned only where aeration is indispensable and far away from the stitching in order to guarantee both better aesthetics and more safety. The new 3D Bubble liner with three-dimensional air spaces creates an authentic air cushion between the racing suit’s leather and the wearer’s body that keeps a fresh and aerated microclimate all year round. The rider’s freedom of movement has also been improved by the introduction of an elastic part where leather was paradoxically not indispensable but merely necessary to increase comfort. The suit’s double zipper closing system – another Dainese patent – permitted the insertion of a fabric composed of a thermoformed combination of elastic material, polyurethane screen, and special anti-scratch Lycra on the chest. This gives the rider more natural movement in both horizontal and vertical directions. The new W-Frame racing suit has co-extruded titanium shoulders, protections in composite material, and a front pocket to hold the new Chest Protector. The suit also features the use of the new D-Skin cowhide leather patented by Dainese provided with a special wax and silicone treatment for extraordinary softness.
