New AFAM 520 Conversion kits with D.I.D. ERV3 race chain Kits are complete with a chromoly steel drilled front sprocket, Workslite hard anodized alloy rear sprocket, new D.I.D. 520ERV3 gold X'ring race chain cut to length and a rivet style master link. You choose the gearing.

Based on availability and inconsistencies with our distribors packaging and kits, you may receive either color of the sprockets pictured in this kit. The only difference is the color. If this is unacceptable, please specify your preferred rear sprocket brand (afam = gray *or* drive systems = black) in the additional notes section of your shopping cart.

Great products - and they're bundled!

Pros: It was nice being able to purchase 2 quality items in one fell swoop, and with a ton of sprocket sizes to choose from. The rear Drive Systems sprocket came in black, which nicely compliments my F4i's new paint scheme as well. (However, some people might prefer a silver sprocket.)

Cons: Not really a 'con' per se - but something for buyers to pay attention to: the last chain and sprocket set I purchased was a Regina / Vortex. Regina chains come with a master link that has a clip on it. The DID chain's does not - it must be riveted on. I had to place another order for a chain tool, as the item description did not mention that one would be required. Maybe this is common knowledge, and assumed that anyone who replaces a chain has one. Who knows.

awesome upgrade

Pros: easy installation with instant gain in acceleration and power. the chain was not cut exactly to size but it was close I only had to take out two links.
