great jacket for the $ |
By dan on 07/15/2008
Pros: Contains lots of features that are found in more expensive jackets: reflective piping, 3 button clasps on sleeves, zip out liner, CE armor in the back, elbows and shoulders, waist adjustment.
Cons: I have not had a chance to try out the waterproof liner, yet.
I got this jacket on sale for $70.
This jacket contains lots of features that are found in more expensive jackets: reflective piping, 3 button clasps on sleeves, zip out liner, CE armor in the back, elbows and shoulders, waist adjustment.
This jacket flows a lot of air, keeping you cool. The jacket is very comfortable, with the armor in it. With the liner in this jacket would be great for 3 seasons.
The liner is securely mounted in the jacket by 7 fasteners. The liner looks nice on its own.
The jacket has 3 arm size adjusters on each sleeve, as well as a adjustment bands on the waist. This makes the jacket very adjustable.
For the $ this is a great jacket.

good jacket for the $ |
By dan from minnesota on 07/14/2008
Pros: This jacket is very comfortable, flows air well and works great. CE armor is built in, but removable. It also has reflective strips for better visibility.
The features in this jacket are available in other jackets, that cost much more.
Pricing the competition a jacket like this goes for $180'-220ish. I got this as a closeout for about $80. Well worth the money.
Cons: Limited color selection.
Sizing Info: Other
Additional Sizing Notes: Fits one to two sizes small.
I am 6'3 200lbs and usually wear a large. I tried on the large and it was too small. The place that I got the jacket from did not have a x-l so I ended up with a XXL. It isn't huge, but is comfortable.
The arms can be taken in easily via the adjustment mechanism. Also the waist can be easily be taken in as well.
Comments: With a waterproof liner, CE armor, in the back, shoulder and elbows. Not to mention the retroreflectibe striping.
This jacket has a lot of features, for a little price

Pros: I got the black and gunmetal jacket which matches my bikes blue-silver finish. I like that the removable liner can be worn as a separate lightweight jacket. Although I have not worn it in the rain, it is supposed to be waterproof yet breathable which is why I bought it. Armor in shoulders and elbows are in proper locations.
Cons: With the liner in it, the sleeves are perfect for my slender arms but would be tight for anyone with husky arms.
Sizing Info: Fits 2 sizes smaller
Additional Sizing Notes: I normally wear Large jackets (5'11", 170 lbs) but found that the 2XL was a good fit yet the sleeves with liner installed were tight enough that you cannot wear more than a shirt underneath. This is even with me having thin arms. Husky arms would be a problem. If at all possible, be sure to try on jacket before buying; if getting by mail order, make sure there is a liberal exchange policy. I never would have chosen this size if I was not able to try it on.
Comments: Sharp looking jacket for use in the rain to avoid ruining your leather jackets. The sizes run small so be sure to get 1-2 sizes larger than you expect.
