    Mesh Tex 2.0 pants |
By Mike from IL. on 07/04/2008
Pros: Nice fit, the pads in the knees run just above the knee while standing and cover completely while sitting/riding. The 32" standard length almost comes down to the bottom of the boot, the length is perfect. These would really be cool riding in warm weather, the mesh breathes, if it's cooler than 55 degrees, wear jeans under or thermals.
Cons: The padding in both hip and knee areas could be a little thicker but for the price the fit and finish are first rate and the ballistic nylon should keep the road rash away.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: The pants fit true to size. I fit into 34" waist, ordered a 36" to have a little wiggle room. They fit great. The waist band leaves room to tuck thermal wear if it's cooler, like it was this morning.

    First Gear MeshTex Pants |
By Mark from Phoenix on 01/11/2007
Pros: Good Quality pant. They fit well and look pretty good. They are comfortable on the bike and fit over boots with out riding up etc...
Cons: Pads are weak. Aromor in the knees would be nice. Not especially cool. So far I have worn them on Winter days in Phoenix and they were warmer than jeans.
Sizing Info: Fits true to size
Additional Sizing Notes: These pants run tru to size very similar to Levis etc...
Comments: Over all I like the pants a lot. Good quaity at a reasonable price point. I would buy another pair.
