Pros: Pants look good and match my First Gear mesh jacket.

Cons: Pants fit the size that I ordered, but they are very form fitting and do not have much breathing room. So if you like a relaxed fit, I would recommend getting a size larger.

Sizing Info: Fits 1 size smaller

 Mesh Tex 2.0 pants

By Mike from IL.

Pros: Nice fit, the pads in the knees run just above the knee while standing and cover completely while sitting/riding. The 32" standard length almost comes down to the bottom of the boot, the length is perfect. These would really be cool riding in warm weather, the mesh breathes, if it's cooler than 55 degrees, wear jeans under or thermals.

Cons: The padding in both hip and knee areas could be a little thicker but for the price the fit and finish are first rate and the ballistic nylon should keep the road rash away.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: The pants fit true to size. I fit into 34" waist, ordered a 36" to have a little wiggle room. They fit great. The waist band leaves room to tuck thermal wear if it's cooler, like it was this morning.

Comments: So far more than pleased with the Mesh Tex pants. I have the Mesh Tex 3.0 jacket that I have had since I started riding three years ago. The main reason I stuck with First Gear riding gear when I... (Read the rest of this review)

 mesh-tex 2.0

By Anonymous from Anytown, USA

Pros: nice fitting pants, good looking, im actually cooler in these pants then i am in jeans.

Cons: pockets are tiny. i can barely get my hands in the hip pockets forget trying to get anything in there. the knee pocket is decent for a wallet or somthing but nothing bigger.

Comments: good pants, safer than jeans for street riding. i like them but they need better pockets

 First Gear MeshTex Pants

By Mark from Phoenix

Pros: Good Quality pant. They fit well and look pretty good. They are comfortable on the bike and fit over boots with out riding up etc...

Cons: Pads are weak. Aromor in the knees would be nice. Not especially cool. So far I have worn them on Winter days in Phoenix and they were warmer than jeans.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: These pants run tru to size very similar to Levis etc...

Comments: Over all I like the pants a lot. Good quaity at a reasonable price point. I would buy another pair.
