The hooks are a coated metal heavy wire. This is both a pro and a con. The bad is that if you loose the small rubber cup that protects the end, it can scratch the bike if you�re not careful. On the plus side, it�s narrow enough to fit into tight places.
It works and looks great. The zippers are smooth, comes with a rain cover and a carrying strap. It holds its shape when it is empty. The size is large enough to carry the extra things for commuting, yet not too large for a sport bike. I have no regrets for making the purchase. KneeDragers is the place to buy it from too. Spacious and Convenient

Pros: This bag has tons of room! I packed two days worth of clothing and toiletries and still had room for my gloves during stops. The expandable bottom is extremely convenient. The rain cover works flawlessly, all of my belongings were bone dry after riding through a 20-minute deluge. Velcro strap holds the bag securely to the passenger seat of my GSX-R. It's a nice-looking bag as well.
Cons: After much thought, I can't come up with any cons. This bag really works.
