 GREAT SUIT FOR THE PRICE

By ADAM from AUBURN, CA

Pros: SUPER CHEAP FOR THE PROTECTION. EASY ON EASY OFF

Cons: IF YOUR IN SOME LIFE THREATNING WEATHER, THE SUIT WILL LEAK IN THE CROTCH AREA. COULD USE SOME KEVLAR PROTECTION IN THE ELBOWS. WILL GET SWEATY IN THE SUMMER. GOOD FOR THE MORNINGS THOUGH.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: IM 6'2" 230 POUNDS AND AN XL FIT PERFECT. COULD WEAR A PAIR OF JEANS AND A SWEATER WITH EASE UNDERNEATH.

I BOUGH THIS SUIT IN THE YEAR 2000 WHILE STATIONED IN WASHINGTON, I HAD A LITTLE 250 ELEMINATOR WITH NO WIND PROTECTION. WENT DOWN ONCE IN THE RAIN RIDING LIKE A MANIAC AT LOW SPEED SLID INTO THE INTERSECTION AND NO DAMAGE TO THE SUIT EXCEPT A FEW SCUFFS. RODE IN THE NASTEST RAIN STORMS HIGH WINDS, HAIL,SNOW, SUB ZERO TEMPERATURES. WAS VERY ABUSIVE TO THE SUIT AND IT LASTED ME 5 YEARS THAN THE MAIN ZIPPER WENT OUT, USED IT ALMOST EVERYDAY FOR 5 YEARS. GREAT CHEAP SUIT OVER 60,000 MILES ON THIS SUIT, HAVE SLEPT IN IT MANY TIMES. YOU HAVE TO MANUALY VENT IT WITH THE MAIN ZIPPER.

By Randy from Sewell, NJ

Pros: I bought this suit at the start of winter here outside of Phila and have ridden all winter in complete comfort. I often ride to the gym with nothing but gym shorts and t-shirt on underneath the suit at speeds up to 75mph with the lowest temperature so far in the low teens. I have actually found that the less clothing underneath the better as the insulating qualities of the suit work best when your body heat can warm the interior lining. Haven't had a chance to ride in serious rain but have had some light rain with no problem. But I really bought the suit for cold over wet and for that I couldn't be happier. I wholeheartedly recommend this suit to anyone who wants to be warm in cold weather.

Cons: Leg zippers will ride up if you aren't real careful about closing the velcro snaps around the zipper. I'm going to extend the zipper cord with a small fishing line weight to the end of the zipper so that it extends below the leg length and south of the velcro snaps. This will stop the zipper from riding up. I'm also going to make a leather leg wrap for the right leg that I can use the suit on the Harley. The suit is fine for the Goldwing with the low pipes but if you brush the right leg against a harley pipe, the fabric will be toast.

 Good value, warm suit

By Anonymous from Brooklyn, NY

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Additional Sizing Notes: I am 5'8' and 180lbs and a Medium fits me perfectly. I once wore a light leather underneath and it was comfortable but too warm for 40 degree, no need for the leather.

Comments: It was really warm in 35 degree weather at 65mph with a fleece underneath

 Will keep you warm, but...

By Mark E. Wood from Goodrich, TX.

Pros: Definately keep you warm and does a great job at high speeds in temps lower than 40 degrees. Easy to get into and out of for a one-piece.

Cons: The neck collar could be a bit taller to help cover the underside of your chin. The baggy legs kind of catch the wind, but all in all; it's a nice suit.

Sizing Info: Fits 1 size larger

Additional Sizing Notes: It's very large and you wouldn't be able to store it on a bike. You'll have to wear it all day including if you wanted to eat in a resturant or go into a store. A bit baggy and heavy, but if it gets real cold; there is enough room inside to wear layers of clothing, which on a short ride; less than a hundred miles, you can just dress in shirt and pants.

  FirstGear Thermo 1-Piece Waterproof Suit

By Don R. from Midlothian Va.

Pros: The suite is very warm so don't wear it over 55 degrees or you will sweat. I have only been able to test it down to 28 degrees at 60 MPH.

Cons: It would be great if there were vents. Around here in Virginia the weather can be 30 degrees in the morning and 65 at 4:00pm making it to hot to wear the suite home from work. So you have to bring 2 sets of cloths. The sleeves get a little cold below 30 deg. but the rest is warm.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size
