A unique light reactive anti-fog visor insert, Hyper Optiks combines the advantage of the world renown FogCity anti-fog inserts with the newest photochromatic technology.
Built with a 20 mil, optical grade polycarbonate lens.
Changes color from a light mint green to a cobalt blue in less than 4 seconds under bright light.
Incorporating molecular-based anti-fog technology, the anti-misting properties of the Hyper Optiks insert will never wear out or saturate like chemical coatings, sprays and lesser quality anti-fog inserts based on acetate and butyrate substrates.
All Hyper Optiks products are now compatible with pin-based and non pin-based visor systems.
Pin-based means that your helmet visor is equipped with actual pins to hold an insert in place.
In the case of Hyper Optiks, these pins are used solely as installation guides, as the adhesive secures the insert to the shield.
Non pin-based means that your visor insert will be applied with the adhesive only.
Pros: item does what it says if you can get the new-style to stick to your visor.
Cons: The new-style of adhesive didn't work out for me. This is my 2nd try on the same style of product with a new helmet. I had ZERO issues with my old helmet and the older-style gasket/adhesive.
-The old-style gasket/adhesive worked really great because the insert had a foam gasket as well as the adhesive to stick to the visor. The foam gasket let the insert "float" or relieve stress from the adhesive/visor contact area. never came off or leaked.
-The new-style adhesive only looks like a strip of adhesive only and no gasket. Following the directions both times, I could not get either of the 2 new style inserts to stay after use. One stuck for about a day and I could move it with my finger. The other stuck for about a week and then I hit some rain and water leaked past the adhesive (not adhered) and then the insert just slid off.
I would highly recommend that Fog city re-design this insert. Great product, but we need the gasket!!!

Pros: works thats all i can say
