  • Galfer's steel braided brake lines are made of PTFE 62 Dupont-Teflon , around the inner Teflon we have 16 strands of steel braided cable (most companies only use 12) that allows for almost 0 expansion effect when applying pressure to the brake lever.
  • All Galfer lines are coated with a clear or colored protective coat, protecting the line from the weather and the bike from scratches.
  • All Galfer kits come complete with banjo bolts and washers for easy installation. Banjo bolts should never be torqued over 12 to 15 ft\lbs.
  • All Sport Bike kits are 2 line kits; with the lines traveling from the master cylinder to the caliper directly.
  • All kits are made bike specific.
  • Important Note: This kit does not include brake pads!! Please see our listing for the Complete Sportbike Brake Kit for those kits!

Pros: I purchased the brake lines in clear and they look great on the bike, also the braking power is stiffer now and doesnt have that soft mushy feeling of the stock lines. It takes a lot less lever pull to engage the brakes.

Cons: difficult to manipulate rear line to fit plastic clips, managed but didnt work smoothly, also front lines both started to bubble slightly halfway down after first few days of riding never increased though after a year of riding.

The lines look great on any bike especially since you can color match, installation was very easy, and they feel great makes you feel better about braking hard from high speeds.
