 Typical Held Quality & Craftsmanship

By David W. Pancerz from Garland, TX on 08/08/2008

Pros: Fine quality leather, excellent stitching and overall construction in keeping with what we expect from Held.

Cons: Cost, but the old adage is true: You get what you pay for.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

I live in Texas and own a couple of pair of Held gloves made for summer riding and figured I best secure some for the upcoming winter months. While it might not get down to single digits here all that often, the Lone Star State can get downright chilly during the winter and all my biking friends up north agree the Held Ice Breaker gloves are the only ones to buy. Workmanship is impeccable as we've come to expect from the folks at Held. The gloves are indeed heavy duty and run long past your wrist to help tuck sleeves under them for greater insulation against the elements. Even though these are winter gloves, the fingers are nimble enough to work most any function on a bike. Highly recommended. Kudos once again go to Knee Draggers for their lightning fast shipping and constant email communication. In my opinion, this country should be run by tight companies such as Knee Draggers and UPS. No doubt I'll be ordering again very soon.

Sizing Info: Other

Additional Sizing Notes: left glove smaller than the right~

Comments: I think these are O.K.- but I would not have named them ICE BREAKERS! My hands still get very cold~

 Best I Ever Seen

By AGreene from Upsate, SC on 02/05/2008

Pros: Well built and not so bulky as mislead. Perfect I think. Fits the hand and my controls to a tee.

Cons: A little pricey I think but I can't argue the performance is well worth it when you compare to others tried that were just a few dollars cheeper.

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Comments: Buy them and see for yourself. Only electrics and good ones at that are going to beat these gloves.

 Excellent early season gloves

By FrostBite from Carrollton, Ga on 10/30/2007

Pros: Excellent for stopping wind and keeping hands warm down into high 30's. Have not had occasion to use below that temp and would probably switch to electrics anyway. Great for pulling on for the 30 mile commute to work without fooling with electrics.

Cons: None yet

Sizing Info: Fits true to size

Comments: Only recently received these gloves. They are well thought out in terms of fit and the adjustable velcro straps. Have not checked waterproof qualities yet.
